Kojak does a lot of the lighting and jib-building on set. He keeps trying to teach me complicated long phrases in Lingala but I can’t remember them and get chastised. He keeps telling me I can’t leave the Congo without knowing more Lingala…I guess I have a lot of work to do in the next three days.
